At the end of a busy preseseason preparation schedule , members of the 1st Team squad played in an interclub game at Horley Town FC under floodlights on Friday evening. With the teams evenly selected a speedy competitive game followed. Team Branton took an early lead when Balcombes inswinging free kick was converted by Lane. Whilst many opportunities followed for both sides thereafter the game remained 1-0.
