Reigate Priory travelled to Mitcham to play Tooting Bec Reserves on their 3G surface and the home side started strongly hitting the post twice early on, although it should have been Priory that went ahead when Alex Frullini’s low cross to the far post had been turned in by Max Roberts but the ball was adjudged to have not crossed the line, despite strong protest from the Reigate side (and Tristan Davies on the sidelines!).  But it was a brace of headers from Jonathan Ogidi later in the first half that put the Reigate side two down at the break. Matthew Gody’s glancing header on the hour mark sealed the victory and Pete Stone’s close-range finish late on after goalkeeper Halsey parried was the icing on the cake for a well-organised Tooting Bec side. Shane O’Keefe had a chance for a late consolation goal but shot wide when well placed. The 4-0 result leaves Reigate Priory bottom of the league and this Saturday they host last year’s champions Old Rutlishians at Park Lane, Reigate.
